Hyderabad, Telangana | September 11, 2025 – In a chilling incident that has left the city in shock, a 50-year-old woman was brutally murdered in her apartment in Hyderabad, allegedly by two men who entered the home with the intention to rob.
The victim, identified as Renu Agarwal, was found dead with multiple stab wounds in her flat located on the 13th floor of an upscale residential complex under the Kukatpally police station limits.
Killers Took a Shower After the Murder
In a shocking and disturbing twist, the accused reportedly took a shower in the house after committing the murder, before fleeing the scene. This detail has deeply unsettled both investigators and the local community, raising questions about the cold-blooded nature of the crime.
Suspicions Raised by Unanswered Calls
Renu Agarwal lived with her husband and 26-year-old son. On the morning of Wednesday, both left for work around 10:00 AM, leaving Renu alone at home. However, when she failed to answer repeated phone calls later in the evening, her husband grew concerned and rushed back home- only to discover the tragic scene.
Robbery Angle Under Investigation
According to police sources, the intruders looted approximately 40 grams of gold and ₹1 lakh in cash before fleeing. Initial investigations suggest that the crime may have been an inside job, with a house help and his accomplice under suspicion.
CCTV footage from the apartment complex and nearby areas is being analyzed, and police have begun questioning individuals connected to the household.
Public Shock and Ongoing Investigation
